another peaceful day at home
i haven blogged for the past few days.. very busy and tired. finally had a day of rest yesterday.. spent it at home watching drama serials :) haha.. and i'm gonna spent my birthday at home too:D i love the feeling of just rotting at home.. saves energy, saves time... haha..anyway, last sunday i visited shu ning at red dot museum.. there were a lot more stalls than usual... many nice and interesting products. everytime i go to tanjong pagar, i will think of the 6 months of work experience i had... haha.. and my fav yong tau foo stall at amoy street... i really wanna eat it again. had sushi buffet with esf, it was nice to hear sharings from everyone about sch life...i miss those days when we were back in sch mugging tgt... haha.. we decided to count down to the 2010 tgt at their hostel :) whee.. i'm so looking forward to that!  and then on monday, lari and i went on a date to science centre to check out bodyworld:) our tickets allowed us to view the other science centre exhibits too.. it was so awesome and cool... lari and i were like the pri sch kids... oohing and ahhing at the interesting exhibits(eg. optical illusions)... i think we tried out every interactive exhibit in the science centre.. haha.. my favourite was the exhibit that could produce cloud rings.. the rings of cloud formed were beautiful, but it was a pity that we couldnt capture them on the camera :( the bodyworld exhibition was an eye opener too... haha.. the human bodies look really artificial actually..(haha shermin, definitely wont be grossed out coz it looks just like plastic figure)the dissections are very intricate. lari and i went around collecting the ink stamps of the different organs(those were for the kids who were doing those activity worksheets)... at some point in time, i was so hungry, i even told lari that the model of the blood capillaries of the chicken looks like chicken floss dyed red. and the cross section of the giraffe looks like ham to me... haha we spent about 5 hours in the science centre... :D we were suppose to go vivocity to have dinner with shermomo and get myself a birthday prezzie.. but the stupid headache of mine refuse to go away.. so the plan was scraped :X  well, i think thats about all i did in the past few days :) after today, it will be outing everyday till the end of this week... :) sidenote: i can totally understand how it feels when one puts in effort to organize something only to find that everyone backs out at the last min. haiz...i guess it cant be helped. |
