RA!!!! i nid to vent my frustration.
i am super duper pissed and irritated right now! i have no idea why the more i try to be neat and pack my stuff.... i end up forgetting where i left them. the more i pack the worse it becomes. in fact when it is all in a mess, i know where to find my belongings.... it's there in that pile of rubbish! i seem to be always wasting time looking for my things.... urgh.. that is damn frustrating!!!!!!!!!!where in the world can it be!!!!!!! for a moment, i thought the blogger website was messing around with me too, refusing to let me sign in. when 1 thing goes wrong, everything seems to be going wrong too!!!!!!!!!!! feeling much better after venting my frustration right here. >_< !!!
an attempt to blog in chinese
Just thought of blogging in Chinese. Typing in Chinese is tougher than I thought probably because I haven’t done that since 98750984750894 years ago. Urgh.. so disappointing. (I have no idea how ailin does it with ease… and can still sound humorous in Chinese)上个星期呆在家里真是闷死了。Channel 8 最近11.30pm都在播放一些台湾偶像剧。篮球火才刚播完，接着就是斗牛，要不要? 。无聊的我闲着没事做就上网把斗牛在重新看了一遍。 俩天内把17集看完，够利害吧！ 好久没看贺军翔演戏了，差一点就忘了当初我有多么地喜欢他。。。在戏里，沈若赫超帅又超酷，什么都难不倒他（世界上应该没有这么完美的人吧 :D），迷死人了。我每次看戏都会爱上男主角，还真的是见一个爱一个嘞， 哈哈！ 对于不喜欢长头发的我来说，如果我走在街上看到长发的男生，八成会觉得他耍什么酷吧（丑死了！），但我却觉得戏里的沈若赫（即使头发还蛮长的）酷毙了！这应该就是double standard 吧！哈哈！戏里的李威也不赖哦！ 能有这样贴心的大哥哥照顾，伊胜雪(hebe) 可超幸运的！但这些都是戏里的剧情啦。。。 新的一周刚开始，我就有一大堆的功课等着我去复习。。。（必须把全部的资料消化掉）this sounds funny because I meant to say digest the contents of my tb?! :S 这已经是开学的第3周了，我却还没进入状况，昨天还意外地发现一周后我会有考试！！！今天第一次上泰语课， 觉得泰语还蛮难学的。光是学拼音就足以闹出超多笑话了。 看来想考个 ‘A’ 是难如登天吧。。。[我的天啊，我弟刚刚在我旁边脱袜子，臭死了！:( ] 这周末可能会有小学同学的聚会。好久没见到他们了，不知道会不会有让我看了跌破眼睛的人，哈哈。好期待！想当年，爱霖和我在小学时根本就没有交谈， 现在却是无所不谈的好朋友。。。忽然觉得自己好老哦 :X 哈哈！不知道到时候会不会有 awkward silence。。 毕竟我小学时很少与同学们说话（和现在的我相比，简直是天渊之别, 有时还必须提醒自己要shut up)， 所以在班上交的朋友也蛮少的。 Well, I guess it’s time to end off… I’ve got a hell lot of work waiting for me to complete…(to think I spent so much time typing this post.. :X) hopefully tomorrow’s free day will be well spent :) bye! 你听了杨丞琳和罗志祥的新专辑吗？真的很好听！:) watch out for the STRESS wave!!!
 these days, i am posting two posts at 1 time because i dun like to lump everything tgt.. haha.. and it's because of the stupid title o.O lol anyway,tuts and lab starts only next week.. so i have lots of free time on hand now. for this week, i didnt have to go to school on tues, wed and fri.. haha :D it feels weird to have nothing to do.. especially when everyone else has work piling up already. :X i have this horrible feeling about the coming week... and of course the weeks to come. this sem seems to be a very rushed one... everything is moving at a crazy pace... imagine whatever that is coming up(stress!) as a huge wave. there you are standing on the shore with your eyes closed... you know it is coming.. approaching... and before you can run away from it, you find it crashing onto you already. when you open your eyes, you find yourself in the middle of it.(rushing out reports and mugging for exams!) and then you just have to struggle and swim for your survival....(racing against time!) dreadful feeling... maybe by this time next week, i will be staying up till dawn just to finish lab reports... :X (i heard that this time the prac lab report is in essay form.. and we have to hand it in in 24 hrs time right after the practical:S) i guess i just have to get used to it. and hope that the interesting content will make things a lot easier. :) if only i knew how to surf... haha.. i could ride the waves :D (reminds me of zac lim)...... good start :)
one and a half weeks of sem 2 just past... bidding has ended too...so far, so good :D as of now, i haven't attended a lecture that make me feel bored or sleepy. haha...i mentioned about taking chem spectroscopy in the previous post,but the first lecture gave me a shock of my life(i cant imagine myself passing the module at all! :S) and made me look for alternatives immediately. it was the last round of bidding, so everyone was playing show-hand. with only 20pts in the g acct, my only choice was thai language which was selling at 1 pt. i'm starting thai classes next week, hopefully it's not too bad... :) whatever the case, i'm sure it's 1000000X better than chem spectroscopy! perfumes and cosmetics class is quite interesting. every lecture, we get to smell different perfume samples..(most of them smell awful though.. :X) haha... the lecturers are engaging and very friendly. and luckily for me, i found two other friends who are taking it too :) not bad for a module gg at 1 pt :) and then there is my favourite module this semester which is modern tech in medicine and health. lots of videos to watch.... even with some physics content(i dun like physics that much), it's still really really worth taking!get to learn how endoscopy, laser, xray, radiotherapy, ultrasound etc works :D haha..i love the lessons.. because i learn so much from the lecturer :) as for biodiveristy and physiology... i cant really tell whether it will be interesting.. because for phhysiology we are learning photosynthesis.. which was taught in jc..and the teacher looks kindof fierce. nid to take down a lot of notes too :( for biodiversity, its gonna be an old man lecturer next lecture which is tmr... well, i guess this is a good start since i am looking forward to the interesting lectures :D i was there to witness it!
 sunset on the mountain :)this looks prettier than the sunrise. haha.. so i posted this only ;D  mountain edge....  we took a lot of photos of different peaks. but everything looks the same to me.haha.. my favourite one was these donkey ears on mt kinabalu.(haha.. this is the only one i could distinguish :D isnt it cute?)  i'm so glad we made it to the top(low's peak)!!!! u cant really tell from the photo though. super unglam shot cause we were super exhausted and cold. i had a hard time smiling.. :)  going down the rock surface of the mountain. we were above the clouds!!!!!!!  i thought this shot of grace was the coolest! would have done it if there were still energy in my jellified legs :D haha... more photos to come...............next time i think i'm addicted to adventure holidays :D how bout scuba diving next time? lol dream on..... got to sleep now. 8am chem spectroscopy tomorrow........ maybe i'll get to watch sherlock holmes with my siblings tmr :) back to climbing stairs
 one of the many flight of steps we had to climb during the trip :) today marks the start of semester 2 of my first year in university. i attended 3 2hr lectures back to back from 10am to 4pm. my goodness... i wonder how i am gonna survive that kind of timetable every monday and thursday... haha.. humans are good at adapting.. so i'll make it through the sem.. somehow :D the start of this new sem feels like moving from jc1 to jc2. haha.. going to sch thinking that at the end of the semester there's gonna be an "'A' lvls" waiting for me again. thats just gross :X the modules are totally new to me... and some of them are just not what i expected. this semester i'm gonna be doing more quantum physics stuff?!?! wavelengths.. spectroscopy..(not really what i am gd at :S) and then there's perfumes and cosmetics...(yeah thats a module too. unexpected right?) plus bio stuff: animals, microorganisms and plants.... plus lots more essay writing... :S these new stuff makes me feel like i am back to square 1 again. back to the first step. if u imagine the whole semester workload as a flight of stairs... then right now i am back at ground level again. throughout the sem, i'll make my way up, but it requires a hell lot of effort and perseverance. my intelligence will determine the speed and ease of my climb. by the end of the semester, my cap would tell me how much i manage to climb... i'm only hoping that this semester's climb would be an interesting and fruitful one than the previous climb. oh well.. i guess i just have to like whatever that's gonna be taught and go to lectures with an open mind. it cant be that bad right? in life, u may not always get to do the things that u like. but u can always try to like the things u do :) have fun climbing :D drunk? i dont think so.
last night after dinnering with taz, i joined my dad and mum for a drink at sunset tavern. ok fine, i guess i was being the light bulb. :S wanted to try a new cocktail... but all of them look weird :X so end up ordering singapore sling again(my dad say that was nice). when the drink came, i was kindof shocked. the glass of cocktail was a lot bigger than i expected. coz the one i tried in sabah was a lot smaller. a taste of it.. and a thought came to my mind: eew.. taste like conc cherry syrup.the sabah one tasted a lot less conc and not that sweet. the drink was more drinkable when i had delicious calamari to go along with it. i managed to finish everything.. coz it isnt that cheap. haha... anyway, drinking makes me feel sleepy.(i have no idea why ppl who drink in tv dramas still have so much energy to do all sorts of funny stuff?!) so off to bed i go.. thinking that everything is fine. only to wake up at 2 am due to this throbbing headache. i couldnt sleep at all.... urgh.. totally regretted drinking... but it was just a pathetic cocktail, wat harm could it have caused? obviously my body didnt like it.. coz the next thing i knew, i was throwing up my dinner(say cheese! fish and chips) and alcohol into the toilet bowl. eew.. gross to the max. is this wat hangover is all about? how come my body is so retarded.. dont ppl in tv shows puke immediately right after they drink? the headache didnt subside... so panadol came to the rescue. dont know what time i manage to sleep. it was just dreadful... :( right now, i can still feel the lingering taste of alcohol. urgh! taste of regret. no more alcohol for the time being. when i told my dad about it, he said that's a good experience. at least u know what it's like to have a hangover. drink more to train ur tolerance for alcohol. oh great :X what advice is this.. haha hey friends, thanks :)
when things look really bad, having friends that offer a lending hand really matters a lot. even if he or she cant really solve the problem, the concern they show makes one feel a lot better. they make whatever that lies ahead a lot less daunting. thanks :) i really appreciate it :D  even though i dunno whether i can get my mods successfully in the next rd(i hope i can) i am a lot happier now :) T_T
feeling dreadful right now because of the stupid cors bidding thing! that thing really drives me up the wall. urgh! screw it man...just thought i post this photos up before i go find more mods. sucs ttm.>_< shermin's and jieying's bdae celebration. hope they liked it :D  life seems to have more shocks than surprises installed for me. bleah :X sundaes :)

this is the best new year's day of my life.. haha.. coz i always stay at home on 1st jan. felt really happy to be able to spend the whole of 1st jan night cycling with the oac gang :D it's always fun to hang out with them.... we cycled from ecp to tanjong rhu.. to lau pa sat.. to marina barrage...and back.. the view at marina barrage was amazing... lying down on the benches to look at the night sky.. the kites flying so high.. as if they were competing with each other to see who reaches the moon first.. i just felt like lying there the whole night. it was so windy... the christmas lights at marina side were so pretty too... i just felt so blessed to be out there witnessing all the pretty sceneries... haha... :D everytime we stopped, we took photos and played poker cards... sunrise at ecp was amazing too... the lack of sleep made us a little cranky... haha but i think everyone had fun :D and thanks to char, we got a ride back home :) whee... what a great way to spend 1st jan :) love ya guys :D

somehow the family photos taken overseas... in the wild turns out to be a lot more beautiful and natural than those taken at the studios. i love this photo a lot!  note to self: haha... i wonder when i can finish picking out the nice photos from the whole album of 500 over photos... and combine them into collage. i love sleepover!
i spent new year's eve night at xw and yili's place :) had a great sleepover... all of us literally slept... haha... we had dinner at nearby tze char stall... the wait is super long... all the dishes came except the veg.... as if they need to plant and harvest the kang kong before serving to us.. bleah. xw said the stems look thick. i think some neighbour helped to fertilized the crops.. haha.. anyway, we had sparkling juice(only $2.95 a bottle!!!!! they were seriously trying to clear stocks) and sushi (maki) and potato chips... and london choco roll for supper... the highlights of the sleepover were the htht...(everyone except me have tonnes of juicy news to share) and the sleeping part. haha... the room was so cosy... and then we watched UP... but almost everyone was falling asleep while watching.... i think the aim of the sleepover was to count down to 2010 tgt... but the irony was that none of us was looking forward to the new year at all...haha.. so countdown was a total failure... nonetheless, i was really glad and thankful to be able to spend my last moments of 2009 with esf :) i love them to bits :D hope that we'll meet up real soon :)  i wonder how much the sparkling juice company is paying us to advertise for them.. :D  all of us sitting on yili's comfy bed :) up next: night cycling tonight with oacians... whee :P |
